Metallics for men: Adrien Brody PDF Print E-mail

We've seen much in the way of the metallics trend for women, from metallic ballet flats and metallic heels, to metallic leggings. But for men, the trend hasn't taken off nearly as much.

In fact, away from the runway, we haven't seen much of metallics on men at all. That is, until Adrien Brody wore a full silver metallic suit to the premiere of The Darjeeling Limited - a move not many male celebrities would be bold enough to attempt.

Aside from having to give him credit on the unique and somewhat daring choice, one would probably have to conclude that metallics in both and jacket and pants is a little much. One or the other would have made for a more fashionable red-carpet outfit, as - much like with women's - metallics should be worn in moderation. Tania Braukamper
