Long known for his long braided hair, Country legend, Willie Nelson has had his long hair cut off. It is unclear why he did so. His spokeswoman, Elaine Schock, said that Mr. Nelson had his hair cut in the last couple of weeks. She did not offer up the exact reason for the haircut, though she thinks he probably got tired of the upkeep of the long hair.* Perhaps he wanted to donate the braids to clean up the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. Or, perhaps he lost a bet. Maybe he’s auctioning the braids off for Farm Aid. The world may never know the reason.
