Teen Hairstyle Trends
Adolescence is the phase of life when every boy and girl feels the need to be attractive. They all are in a restless rage to impress one another by one or the other behavioral modifications. It is the phase where not one teenager is happy with what they have. They are always looking for something new , something that keeps them upto the standards and trends of the “cool” generation. While they tend to worry about things like skin, clothes, fashion, accessories a very commonly worried about aspect of their personalities is their hairstyle. This holds true equally for both boys and girls. Boys are as fashion conscious as girls. Its all a part of wanting to be the talk of the town or the centre of attention or just to fit in the crowd and not be criticized as a loser or an outcast.

Teen hair grows really fast and thus they can without any constraints try on all kind of hairstyles that they think is cool and happening. Hairstyles if carefully selected, judging the kind of facial structure one possesses, can magically enhance your good features and hide the not so good ones. Hairstyles can change the way you look otherwise and it always fun to keep changing your looks. It is a refreshing change.
Choosing hairstyles according to face shape is significant. For teenage girls, if you have a round face add fullness to your face by highlighting the forehead and not covering it with a fringe. Never go for a center parting, keep it to the side or just pull back a little portion of your hair. You must avoid hairstyles where the hair is either too straight or flat on the top of the head. For a long face, center parting must be avoided and instead of having long dull straight hair try having a shorter bouncier hair with long fringes falling on the forehead. The fringes cuts off length from your face at the same time looks very trendy. For a square face, shoulder length hair with feather or layer cuts near the face with a diagonal fringe will accentuate your face.
For boys, normally short haircuts were the most commonly found trend which suited every occasion but this gradually became a very monotonous and boring look. Spikes and fringes and bangs are the in thing these days. They also have layer cuts for both short and long hair lengths. The best part for teenage boys is that they can change their hairstyle day to day by the use of hairstyling gels. Hair falling on the forehead or pointing upwards towards the sky is both very trendy and cool. Although these looks would only look good on you when you sport the right kind of attitude. b4tea
